Main Challenge
Offer-holders who stop opening emails look lost on the report, and the team only learns who was still deciding when the withdrawals arrive.

The challenge

Students are holding more offers and deciding later.

Finance directors in England told the Office for Students in 2026 that students are "accepting multiple offers and withdrawing at the last minute", and that this is making it harder to forecast and budget for the year.

In 2024-25, English providers' UK recruitment came in 8.6% below forecast.

Email engagement tells you who is opening your messages. It can't tell you who is still weighing you up.

A student who has gone quiet in the inbox and a student who has gone quiet altogether look identical on the report.

The moment

Four weeks before registration opens, the admissions lead at a mid-sized English university runs the weekly offer-holder report.

Priya accepted her offer in June. She hasn't opened an email since July.

On the report, Priya looks lost. She isn't.

She has been back on the website five times this week, reading the accommodation pages, the deferral policy and the hardship fund.

She's still deciding, and the questions she's asking are about money and where she'll live, not the course.

None of that reaches the admissions team. By the time it does, it arrives as a withdrawal.

What changes

From falling open rates to knowing who's still deciding.

Today

The team sees an accepted offer and a falling open rate, with no sign of whether the student is still deciding.

A student who is quiet in the inbox looks the same as one who has gone altogether.

The first the team hears of a student's doubts about money or accommodation is the withdrawal.

The right team calls with an answer to the question the student is actually asking, before it becomes a withdrawal.

How it works

Three simple steps.

1

See who is still deciding, and what about.

Once an offer-holder identifies themselves on the website through a form or sign-in the university has set up, their visits appear as a timeline on their Salesforce record.

2

Call with the right answer.

Before the call, a short briefing summarises what the student has been reading. Priya gets a call from the accommodation team about her options, not another reminder to complete enrolment.

3

Let the website answer first.

Pages show offer-holders what applies to them, such as deadlines, funding and accommodation for their programme, and hold back recruitment content they no longer need.

What it takes

Works with your existing websites and Salesforce environment.

License
Installs into the Salesforce org you already run, so your staff keep working where they work today, with no new login. Your Salesforce administrator installs it, then sets it up to match how your institution works.

Salesforce configuration
Plan for your administrator's time during setup. The more your org has been customised, the more there is to map, and our implementation team works through it with them.

Consent and privacy
Consent applies to every visitor, in every country they're browsing from. Your privacy notice needs to cover it, and you should plan for a DPIA.

LoupeED sees website activity from offer-holders who have accepted your cookie banner and identified themselves through a form or sign-in you've set up, so some offer-holders will stay out of view. Your privacy notice needs to describe the activity.

What a pilot would measure

One admissions team, one website, 90 days that include the final four weeks before registration. Melt across all offer-holders in the team's scope, compared with the same team's offer-holders last cycle.
A pilot tests your business case, not just our software. It runs for a defined period of time with a deliberately narrow scope. We review progress with you throughout, not only at the end. The outcome covers what didn't work as well as what did, so your finance team can set the result with confidence. When the pilot succeeds, you'll already know what comes next: which teams or journeys to add, and what each would involve.
