CDP4S lets agents and sales reps deliver targeted web content to customers directly from their Salesforce record. CDP4S monitors the status of prospects as they traverse the sales process and instructs Sitecore CDP to personalize the website accordingly. Acknowledging prior communications with website visitors and providing contextual content creates a better experience and deepens engagement.
After configuring CDP4S in Salesforce personalization becomes automated. When agents and reps change a value in a named Salesforce lead and contact field, CDP4S pushes the new value to Sitecore CDP. When website logic requests a personalization decision from Sitecore CDP, the new value is used by Sitecore CDP to determine the personalization decision.
The configuration is straightforward. First, consider which Salesforce object and named fields will be the data sources for website personalization. Go to the CDP4S Settings tab, and set the Master Lookup Field to lead or contact, or something else.
