Sitecore SEFE Conversion

Moving from the old EDB Totalpartner Ecommerce module to the new SEFE (Sitecore Ecommerce Fundamental Edition) was more of an undertaking than we expected. Sitecore extensively rewrote the EDB module after acquiring it in 2010 and the challenges arose when moving customisations from EDB to SEFE. However our overall experience with SEFE was positive with the Unity Application Block making it very easy to swap out the default data sources.
